Activity 1 — Equal Groups.
Children are shown several equal-sized groups (for example, 2 baskets with 5 apples each) and asked to find the total by adding the group size repeatedly (5 + 5 = 10).

Activity 2 — Real-World “Times”.
The book uses relatable examples — bus seats (rows of equal seats), jalebis (sweets sold in equal bunches), pencil boxes (equal pencils per box) — to help children see multiplication as a shortcut for adding the same number many times.

Activity 3 — Say It as “Times”.
Children practise describing a repeated-addition sum using the word “times” — for example, 3 + 3 + 3 becomes “3 times 3”.
