Activity 2 — Find the Line of Symmetry.
For shapes that are symmetric, children draw or identify the line along which the shape was folded — the line of symmetry.

Activity 3 — Complete the Picture.
Given one half of a symmetric picture, children draw the missing other half so the completed picture matches on both sides.

Activity 4 — Symmetry in Nature and Letters.
Children look for symmetry in real things — a butterfly’s wings, a leaf, or capital letters like A, H, M, and T — and identify which are symmetric and which are not.
